In my opinion the F2 has the best proportions of all the Zakus, but the old V1 frame doesn’t do the kit any justice. Terrible joints means any decent kind of pose isn’t really possible.
My main issues with dealing with this kit were:
- Sanding and painting those beads – was seriously gonna /wrist at one point!
- Getting the green right. I tried as hard as possible to get a similar mix to the box art but after several repaints I just gave up and went my own style.
What painting method do you use on your kits? Great job, I wouldnt mind doing some of my MG kits in this style. Beautiful Zaku.
